Celebrating a Year
It is about a year ago that we firmed up the bylaws for the Voyant Consortium and began to encourage people to join. We now have over 400 members! What an amazing community!
As part of our bylaws we are committed to an Annual Members Meeting. We are planning to organize that for the morning of September 11th or 12th at about 8‑00 AM EDT. At that meeting we plan to update you on the Consortium, hear from you, and discuss elections to the Community Board.
Remember: Voyant will be deleting all corpora that haven’t been used in over a year on August 15th and the deleted corpora will be unrecoverable.
The current Voyant Server has been in operation for three years now and our cached data is overflowing and starting to cause serious problems. Because of this, we have reluctantly decided to remove all corpora that have not been used in over a year.
